Dicksonia antarctica is an evergreen fern-like tree. This variety features a large trunk that consists mainly of root, which can grow up to 3m tall. Dark green fronds that can reach 3m in length accommodate the tree all year round. These impressive tree ferns are one of the oldest plants in the world. The Dicksonia antarctica is hardy and can withstand temperatures as low as -10 degrees. This particular plant will be best planted in a partially shaded or fully shaded area.
