Description
A prized specimen among collectors, Eulychnia castanea f. varispiralis is an unusual, slow-growing plant with a spiralling helter-skelter form. The cristata variety is further sought after for its very rare formations.
WATERING
Water when soil is dry 100%. Water very lightly (if at all) during winter months.
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS
Full sun.
FEED
Use a cactus fertiliser 3 times between March – November.
REPOTTING
Repot every 2-3 years. Use a well-draining cactus compost, adding extra drainage such as perlite, pumice or grit.
