Description
Sow the seeds directly outdoors from September-June.
Sow the seeds thinly on the soil surface and lightly cover with a fine layer of compost or grit.
Keep the soil consistently moist until seedlings emerge.
Seeds will usually germinate within 7-21 days once temperatures are suitable.
Once seedlings are large enough to handle, thin them to 20-25cm apart to allow space for growth.
Water regularly during dry spells until established, but avoid waterlogging.
Deadhead spent flowers to encourage continued blooming.
