Description
Sow the seeds outdoors between March-April for flowering the same year.
Alternatively, sow June-September for flowering the following season.
Sow the seeds thinly on the soil surface and lightly cover with a thin layer of soil.
Water gently to settle the seeds and keep the soil moist until germination.
The seeds will germinate in 10-20 days depending on soil temperature.
When large enough to handle, transplant into individual pots.
Gradually acclimatise the plants to cooler conditions.
Plant out once the risk of frost has passed at 60cm apart.
