Description
This is a late organic variety from France. Medium sized variety with large leaves and good sized white stalks of medium length. Leek Carentan is resistant to lower temperatures and its dated to about 1874. To sow Leek Carentan seeds, you should begin by preparing a seedbed in a well-drained area of your garden. The best time to sow the seeds is in early spring, around March or April, when the soil has warmed up a bit and the risk of frost has passed.
