Alocasia ‘Chantrieri’

Description

A hybrid of Alocasia sanderiana x Alocasia cuprea, taking on features of the incredible rippled margins of Alocasia sanderiana and the glowing holographic surface of Alocasia cuprea. Shiny, waxy foliage with thick, wavy margins and glowing pale green veins makes for an eye catching display of the rare Alocasia ‘Chantrieri’.

WATERING

In S/S water when 20% of the top soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 70%.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Bright, indirect.

FEED

Use a houseplant fertiliser every 2 – 4 weeks from April – October.

REPOTTING

Repot roughly every 1-1.5 years. Use a well draining house plant compost with added draining medium like perlite.
