Description
A striking shade of azure and a smooth matte-like texture, the Myrtillocactus geometrizans is really a beautiful plant. Unlike many of its pals who are coated in prickles, the Blue Candle cactus has a very modest amount of thoughtfully placed spines, making it not only a beautiful plant but also a bit more indoor friendly.
WATERING
Water when soil is dry 100%. Water lightly (if at all) during winter months.
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS
Full sun.
FEED
Use a cactus fertiliser 3 times between March – November.
REPOTTING
It can stay in the same pot for a number of years as it is such a slow growing plant. If it does ever become too small for the pot it is in, repot into one size up and use a well draining cactus compost, adding extra drainage such as perlite, pumice or grit.
POT SIZE / HEIGHT
See available sizes below. Please note that, due to their natural variability, specimens’ height may be within 10-20% of the stated height below.
Plant is supplied in its plastic nursery pot.
