Description
Our beautiful native Cornflower which traditionally grew in meadows and verges across the country but is now sadly fairly rare due to modern farming methods and land use. This was ranked very highly, in terms of nectar production (showing particular value in the role of nectar-provider for insects), in a UK survey of meadow species’ production of nectar sugar and pollen.
