Description
Our Vaccinium corymbosum Hortblue Petite is a deciduous shrub that bears sweet, edible fruit. The plant has dark blue-green leaves that eventually gain a hazel hue between Spring and Autumn. Pink-white flowers will bloom from late Spring – late Summer, adding further interest to this variety, followed by flavoursome Blueberries that will be ready to harvest in mid-Summer and early Autumn. These can then easily be eaten by themselves, or included in jams, juices and more.
They will grow to an ultimate height and spread of 1m. In terms of plant care, it should be placed in bright, indirect sunlight and planted in moist, well-drained soil. Watering becomes essential when the soil is dry to touch.
