Azalea Konigstein

Description

Azalea Konigstein is a dense, evergreen shrub with small, broad, lance-shaped dark green leaves which remain all year round. In late spring, rounded clusters of ruffled, funnel-shaped violet flowers bloom, continuing to bloom until early summer.

Plant Azalea Konigstein in moist, well-drained, acidic soil such as clay, loam or sand. It will thrive best in a partially shaded area in the garden. This plant is an excellent choice for bedding and borders, especially for filling in gaps.
