Description
This monstrous form of the Myrtillocactus geometrizans emerges with unusual spherical segments, which grow by slowly producing new spheres at the top of each segment. New growth appears bright green before fading to a silver-green, with the occasional cluster of grey spines.
WATERING
Water when soil is dry 100%. Water lightly (if at all) during winter months.
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS
Full sun.
FEED
Use a cactus fertiliser 3 times between March – November.
REPOTTING
It can stay in the same pot for a number of years as it is such a slow growing plant. If it does ever become too small for the pot it is in, repot into one size up and use a well draining cactus compost, adding extra drainage such as perlite, pumice or grit.
POT SIZE / HEIGHT
See available sizes below. Please note that, due to their natural variability, specimens’ height may be within 10-20% of the stated height below.
Plant is supplied in its plastic nursery pot.
