Chlorophytum comosum ‘Lemon’

Description

A variety of the ever resilient and prolific spider plant. Like other spider plants this variety produces a big family of plantlets on stems reaching out from the pot, which are happy either as a hanging from their parent or cut off and propagated into new plants. Chlorophytum comosum ‘Lemon’ produces those iconic pointed arching leaves, in shades of bright green.

WATERING

In S/S water when 20% of the top soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 50%.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Bright, indirect.

FEED

Use a houseplant fertiliser once a month from April – October.

REPOTTING

Repot every two years to give the roots more space to grow and replenish the soil. Use a well draining house plant compost with 20% additional drainaged medium like perlite, grit or hydroleca.
