Alocasia ‘Platinum’

Description

Glossy, leather-like leaves of the rare Alocasia ‘Platinum’ first emerge in a pale olive green, bouncing atop rigid deep red stems. As the leaves mature they fade into a striking silver sheen with almost black venation.

WATERING

In S/S water when 20% of the top soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 70%.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Bright, indirect.

FEED

Use a houseplant fertiliser every 2 – 4 weeks from April – October.

REPOTTING

Repot roughly every 1-1.5 years. Use a well draining house plant compost with added draining medium like perlite.
