Description
This really beautiful, icing-pink variation of this normally mauve plant bears opening flowers that really do look like three little birds having a gossip on a perch. An absolutely stunning, superb plant for a rockery, where it may very gently self-seed it is commonly known as Three Birds Toad Flax. This pretty perennial produces spikes of mid pink flowers with yellow centres from late summer. Prefers well drained soil in a sheltered sunny site, and grows to a height of 1m (3ft).
