Description
One of the most unusual and rare cacti in our collection, Myrtillocalycium cv. Polyp is a graft chimera between Myrtillocactus cochal and Gymnocalcium cv. Red Hibotan. Its green stem is riddled with bright pink-red scarring, appearing randomly across the surface. The mix of cacti from two different genera means it can be a little unstable, and have a tendency to produce reverted red Gymnocalcium shoots. Everything about this colourful cactus is completely unique and alien in appearance.
