Description
Start the seeds outdoors once the soil has warmed in May-June.
Sow the seeds thinly on the surface of a wellprepared seedbed and dont cover.
Keep the soil consistently moist until seedlings emerge.
Seeds will usually germinate within 14-21 days under favourable conditions.
Once seedlings are large enough to handle, thin them to about 10-15cm apart.
Choose a sunny or partially shaded, welldrained site for best growth.
Water regularly during dry spells until established, but avoid waterlogging.
Deadhead spent flowers to encourage continued blooming and prolong the display.
