Description
As the name suggests, the deep green, rippled leaves Alocasia macrorrhiza ‘Lutea’ can reach gigantic proportions if well cared for. As the plant matures, the veins and petioles become a striking, bold yellow which almost glows when bathed in soft morning sunlight.
WATERING
In S/S water when 20% of the top soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 70%.
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS
Bright, indirect.
FEED
Use a houseplant fertiliser every 2 – 4 weeks from April – October.
REPOTTING
Repot roughly every 1-1.5 years. Use a well draining house plant compost with added draining medium like perlite.
