Description
The Begonia rex Hugh McLauchlan is an indoor plant with some very vibrant red foliage which, throughout each leaf, is joined by some innocent veining that gives the plant a great amount of character and presence within the room. The presece of the plant is also heightened by the sheer cluster of leaves that this Rex Begonia possesses, making it a show-stopping addition to any home, office, window sill, bathroom or other indoor space. The King Begonia, as its more commonly known, will clean the air through the use of its air-purifying qualities, ensuring a fresher living area for all. Partially shaded areas are best for the plants growth and progression, as well as watering it when the soil is dry to touch. Once a week will suit the plant, until its dormant period of Winter when this can be lowered to once every two weeks.
