Hoya australis ‘Blondie’

Description

This rare Hoya is a heartthrob. Highly variegated leaves of this variety take centre stage. New growth appears through burgundy and bright pink, with large patches of variegation turning to a pale golden colour followed by a pale green as the plant matures. The glossy leaves have deep green edges, and they love to climb.

WATERING

Water when 80% of the soil is dry.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Bright but not direct.

FEED

Use a houseplant fertiliser once a month from April – October.

REPOTTING

Repot every two years to give the roots more space to grow and to replenish the soil. Use a well draining house plant compost with 30-40% added draining medium like perlite, grit or hydroleca.
