Description

Good, strong growing variety with amazing powder blue, deeply veined and slightly wavy, heart shaped leaves which are produced throughout the growing season. This variety is considered one of the best blue Hostas for holding its colour right to the end of the season. Due to the density of growth it works well as a weed suppressor. The leaves are of good substance so show resistance to slug and rabbit damage. In mid-summer 58cm (23ins) tall green spikes are produced with delicate, fragrant bell-shaped flowers which are good for flower arrangements. It thrives in partial or full shade. As with all Hostas they will go completely dormant in winter so the withered foliage will need tidying away before spring time. Give a good feed and mulch well to get lusher leaves.
