Lupinus Polar Princess is a hardy, upright, perennial plant with sturdy stems and palmate, mid-green leaves. This lupin variety is vigorous with tall strong flower spikes producing creamy buds which open up to pure white a long blooming period from late spring into early summer, this impressive perennial will add some brilliant colour contrast to borders or patio containers. With their elegant tall flower spires and textured foliage they have long been revered by gardeners to add height and structure to free flowering bedding areas.

Provide a sheltered location to protect your Lupines from winds or stake the flowers well with bamboo canes in spring before the flowers appear. Deadhead regularly to encourage a second flush of flowers. Protect the young plants from slug and snail attacks.
