Philodendron scandens

Description

Philodendron scandens is a popular hanging plant because it is quick and easy to grow. It has dark green, glossy distinctly heart shaped leaves, which look perfect draped over a shelf.

WATERING

In S/S water when 20% of the top soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 50%.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Bright, indirect, shade tolerant.

FEED

Use a houseplant fertiliser once a month from April – October.

REPOTTING

Repot every 2 years or alternatively replace the top 10cm of the soil with fresh house plant compost every year.
