Description
Fockea natalensis produces long trailing vines from its tuberous rootstock, which can climb for many metres if given the right conditions. Large pointed leaves with a vivid purple underside make this colourful caudiciform a great addition to a sunny spot.
WATERING
In S/S water when 90% of the soil has dried out. During the winter months allow the soil to dry out 100% watering very little every 1-2 months. Avoid watering directly onto the caudex.
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS
Full sun.
FEED
Use a cactus fertiliser 2-3 times a year.
REPOTTING
Repotting once every 2-3 years to replenish soil. Use a cactus compost with a good mix of perlite.
