The richest and strongest flavour of all varieties of sage is Salvia officinalis. It is a resilient perennial that is evergreen and edible all year long. Sage Salvia features blue blossoms and delicate, oval leaves that are 60 cm tall and wide. A lovely plant that works well in containers, the vegetable patch, and your garden borders.
Growing instructions:
Sow the Herb Salvia Officinalis Sage Broad Leaved seeds from March to August. Thinly sow seeds into trays (2cm deep). Germination usually takes 10-14 days and once the seedlings have germinated and have grown 10-15cm tall, transplant the seeds or spread the plants 30-50cm apart. Water plants thoroughly after planting especially during warm summer days. Harvest from June to October.
