Description
Abeliophyllum distichum is a stunning, deciduous shrub, more commonly known as a White Forsythia. This plant produces beautiful, star shaped, almond-scented white flowers with yellow centres and pink tinted edges. The foliage of this shrub appears after the plant has finished flowering; first showing off dark, glossy green leaves before changing to a distinctive purple colour in Autumn.
Plant this shrub in moist, well drained soil in a position with full sun. The perfect plant to add early interest to a shrub bed or border.
