Description
Acer Palmatum ‘Little Princess’, more commonly known as the Japanese Maple, is a slow growing deciduous shrub with a compact, upright growing habit and colourful green leaves with red margins, which develop into vibrant yellow and orange towards the autumn. This maple is an excellent dwarf specimen and works great as a patio or container plant, where it will mature slowly.
‘Little Princess’ is a variety that thrives best in sun or partial shade, and should be sheltered to protect it from harsher winds, which may cause leaf scorch. Light, well-drained soil is advised alongside a top layer of well-balanced fertiliser around the base.
