Description
Very hardy, tall, bushy, robust variety with finely cut, ferny foliage which is semi-evergreen. From June to September it produces a continuous display of large, flattened, plate-like heads of bright yellow flowers well above the foliage which are excellent for cutting and drying. The flowers are nectar and pollen rich so are attractive to bees, beneficial insects, butterflies and moths and it then produces seeds which provide good food for birds. Plants should be staked as they may flop in wet weather. Plant in full sun in moist but well drained soil. Height 1.5m (5ft), spread 45cm (1.5ft).
