Description
Adenium Obesum, commonly known as the desert rose, is a shrubby succulent featuring glossy green leaves and striking red-pink flowers. Indigenous to Africa and the Arabian Peninsula, this plant requires year-round cultivation under glass in the UK due to its native distribution. It is particularly favoured for bonsai cultivation, thanks to its distinctive swollen caudex that serves as a water reservoir. Its important to note that while Adenium Obesum can be toxic, its sap poses a toxicity risk only to humans. The plant typically reaches a size of 100cm in height with a 100cm spread.
