Description
Bright green, spoon-shaped, leaves with slightly fuzzy margins form a dense rosette. When exposed to plenty of sunshine Aeonium nigrum turns a deep purple shade from the leaf tips towards its pale centre. Aeoniums are monocarpic, meaning they die after flowering. The stem from which the inflorescence develops elongates and produces a mass of star-shaped yellow flowers. Once bloomed, the stem with the inflorescence dies back.
WATERING
In S/S water thoroughly only when 100% of the soil has dried out. In A/W allow the soil to dry 100%, water sparingly (every two months or so). In spring, gradually increase watering.

FEED
Use a house plant fertiliser every month between April – September.
