Description
A clump-forming variety with tall, upright stems carrying lovely, bright blooms in the Summer months. The Agapanthus ‘Full Moon’ is a species of the popular african Lily with compact growing, mounded foliage of strap-like, mid-to-dark green leaves beneath the stems which hold rounded umbels of slightly nodding, trumpet-shaped flowers of pale blue, with darker hued central stripes along each petal. A showy flowerer well suited to smaller flowers beds in sunny positions.
Plant in moist, fertile, well-drained soils and keep in full sun in a sheltered position. Can be planted outside in temperate regions but container planting is advised to avoid harsh Winter by moving under glass. Mulching and other forms of frost protection are also advised.
