Agave pumila

Description

This dwarf species of Agave is a little mysterious as it’s of unknown origins. With a compact growth habit it produces a dense rosette of dark green leaves, with even darker margins. Its thick and concave leaves are also lined with small brown spikes and tips, although these develop into more pale tones as the leaves mature.

WATERING

During S/S water when the soil is 100% dry. Refrain from watering during winter months.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Full sun.

FEED

Use a cactus fertiliser twice between April – September.

REPOTTING

Repot every 2-3 years. Use a well draining cactus compost, adding extra drainage such as perlite, pumice or grit.
