Description
An evergreen perennial succulent at home in warm, tropical climates and well known for its leaves and extract which are used as ingredients in medicinal gels and creams made for soothing and moisturising skin irritations, burns and other ailments.
Grows best in well-drained soils when watered sparingly. Water every 1 – 2 weeks and leaves to dry. Constant soil moisture will cause root rot and kill the plant due to its native desert habit of retaining water for long periods.
Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
