Description
A beautiful, free-flowering plant that can add a splash of colour to any garden. Alstroemeria is more commonly known as the Peruvian Lily and is native to South America. It is a dense herbaceous perennial that stays short in height, making it a perfect border plant. Colorita Tamara has vibrant purple lilies with deep magenta throats, which bloom from early June until first frost.
Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Keep in full sun or partial sun. Plant will not flower well in shade. Once the Alstromeria has been planted, it will not react well to being disturbed or moved.
