Description
A tuft forming clump of very fine leaves that are mid-green early in the year, but turn orange-bronze during summer into autumn. They stay this colour right through the winter. In late summer a froth of flower stems, as fine as hair, bear tiny, purple flowers are produced. Also called Stipa arundinacea.
