Anemone ‘Bracteata Pleniflora’ is a delightfully unconventional double-flowered wood anemone, bringing a crisp white and green freshness to shaded spring planting. This dwarf, rhizomatous perennial forms a low carpet of dark green, palmate leaves, each divided into three neat lobes, creating a cool woodland backdrop for its wonderfully detailed, double flowers. From March to May, Anemone ‘Bracteata Pleniflora’ produces distinctive double blooms with white petals touched in green at the tips, all gathered within a collar of green bracts. The effect is intricate, almost ruffled, and just unusual enough to make gardeners lean in for a closer look.

Reaching around 10-15cm in height, Anemone ‘Bracteata Pleniflora’ is perfect for the front of shady borders, beneath deciduous shrubs or naturalised through woodland-style planting.
