Description
The Anemone Wild Swan is an exciting new variety that has the added benefit of flowering intermittently from May to November, making it one of the longest-blooming perennials. This very dainty clump forming cultivar has green leaves and white flowers that are gracefully carried on wiry stems. The petals have grey-blue streaks on their underside which give them a bluish tint when half closed or in bud. Once established, they will thrive with minimal maintenance as they are quite resistant.
Anemones prefer full or part sun. Plant in moist, fertile, humus rich soil. Keep the soil moist and do not let it dry out! Add winter mulch in cool areas and provide some well-rotted manure or compost in spring. It can reach an ultimate height and spread of 40 – 60cm.
