Anthurium crystallinum ‘Silver Blush’

Description

This epiphytic perennial originates from the rainforests of Central and South America, and can be recognised by its distinguished, velvety, ovate, dark-green leaves lined with glowing white veins. ’Silver Blush’ is a rare cultivar of Anthurium crystallinum. Its incredible foliage comes with a price; this gorgeous plant requires constant warm and high humidity.

WATERING

In S/S water when 30% of the top soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 60%.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Bright, indirect.

FEED

Use a house plant fertiliser every month between April – September.

REPOTTING

Repot every 2-3 years. Plant with the crown just above the surface of the soil but prevent this from drying out.
