Description
Anthuriums or Laceleaf are colourful perennials with shiny, waxy leaves and brightly coloured bracts which grow on long stalks above the foliage called spathes. These spathes surround flower spadices which grow all year. Anthuriums make great houseplants and are the perfect choice for a potted indoor plant or for planting in conservatories, terrariums or greenhouses.
Plant in fertile, well-drained soil and keep in partial sun. Prefers filtered sunlight and may suffer some damage under long exposure to full every 1-2 weeks and avoid constant soil moisture as this may cause root rot and damage. Spray the foliage with water to simulate its native humid habitat.
