Anthurium warocqueanum

Description

The Queen Anthurium – aptly named so due to its incredible foliage. Soft and velvety leaves grow long and slim in a deep green shade, eventually becoming 1 metre long. This rare epiphyte grows in tropical areas of Colombia, and prefers temperate temperatures but high humidity.

WATERING

In S/S water when 30% of the top soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 60%. Keep humidity high but avoid misting the leaves.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Bright, indirect.

FEED

Use a house plant fertiliser every month between April – September.

REPOTTING

Repot every 2-3 years.
