Description
The Apeldoorns Elite tulip has a stunning gradient effect to its leaves; the majority is a deep crimson, which fades to almost a peachy orange at the rim of each petal. They flower in April and May, and make for an incredible 1-flower show, made even better by planting it alongside other spring varieties- a favourite is planting crocuses as a companion plant to make a second layer of flowers.
