Description
This indoor plant with some gorgeous and colourful foliage is the Aphelandra Green. The plant has the aforementioned, stunning foliage colouring, with the extra addition of colourful flower bracts which appear at various points throughout the year. The flowers will not be an ever-present feature, but the zebra-like stripes on top of each leaf will, giving the plant the character it thrives off within any indoor setting. It will purify the air of the area it is placed in by removing harmful pollutants and unwanted toxins. Place the plant in bright, indirect light before watering the plant once a week. The plant is considered to be more temperamental than others, so misting the plant will help this process as it will allow the plant to get more humidity on a consistent basis. The soil should always remain moist and well-drained.
