Description
Apple Gala is a popular variety of apple tree, producing a high yield of crisp, sweet apples in autumn each , green foliage is accompanied throughout spring by a profusion of ruffled blooms in shades of white tinged with pale pink. After the blossoms have gone, gala apples will begin to grow and ripen, ready from harvest from around September onwards.
Gala apples are flushed with red and beautifully crisp and sweet, even when picked straight from the plant. These apples are also fabulous for making apple juice and using in recipes and desserts. These apple trees make fabulous outdoor plants for fans of gardening who are interested in growing their own fruit – perfect for growing in sunny borders or a patio plant pot.
