Arbutus Compacta

Description

Arbutus unedo Compacta is an evergreen shrub that can produce tasty, edible Strawberries. However, this shrub is sometimes prone to being shy in producing that fruit. In Autumn, the fruit can appear, whereas flowering is guaranteed to show, with the flowers providing an elegant white colour to proceedings. The glossy green foliage will last all-year-round and, to maintain the pristine finish of the leaves, it should be planted in moist, well-drained soil and kept in full sun at the best of times. You should also water the plant regularly throughout the year, with Summer seeing less regularity in watering. Finally, avoid overwatering the shrub and give it less water during Winter.
