Description
The Areca Palm is an incredibly versatile house plant, perfect for adding some leafy foliage to brighten up any empty areas in the home. Plentiful, feathery green leaves grow from central canes, arching beautifully and creating masses of lush green foliage. The upright stems resemble bamboo canes, giving this palm more of a bamboo-like appearance than other palms.
Place your Areca Palm in a spot where it will receive bright, indirect sunlight, although it will tolerate some full sun. It needs moist soil, but will not tolerate waterlogged soil, so avoid overwatering by allowing the soil to dry out slightly before watering again. If you choose to place your plant in an area with low humidity, it’s essential to give it a good mist approximately three times per week.
