Asparagus densiflorus ‘Cwebe’

Description

Although commonly known as Asparagus ferns they are actually not true ferns. These scrambling, perennial herbs can climb up to heights of 2.5 metres if given something as a support. The less common Asparagus densiflorus ‘Cwebe’ tends to gently sprawl out of its pot, similar in appearance to the Asparagus densiflorus Myersii, but with less dense foliage.

WATERING

In S/S water when 30% of the top soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 50%. Mist often.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Bright, indirect.

FEED

Use a house plant fertiliser every month between April – September.

REPOTTING

Repot every 2-3 years using a houseplant compost or when roots appear from the bottom of the nursery container.
