This more compact Astilbe ‘Fireworks White’ is great in a gap where space is more limited, or in containers.

The lush leaves of Astilbe ‘Fireworks White’ make an attractive filler from late spring. Then, from mid-summer you’ll be treated to an avalanche of snowy-white blooms which form a summit above the foliage. Thriving in cool, damp conditions, this plant will be a highlight in a shaded or partially shaded area. Astilbes can also grow in a sunny spot as long as the soil doesn’t dry out in summer—they look lovely next to a pond or stream.
