Description
The ingenious and simple way to give the best start to plants growing in containers and hanging baskets. Fertiliser, beneficial microbes and water retaining crystals are bound together in a disc of compressed coir fibre. Simply half fill the basket or pot with compost, insert the discs, cover with compost and then plant as usual.
From the first watering, the microbes and fertiliser will be slowly released, creating the best possible environment for plant growth. Each pack contains 12 discs.
How To Use:
Half fill your basket or planter with compost, insert a disc and cover with a little more compost and plant as normal. Recommended doses are:
Single pot to 3 litres (c. 15cm or 6′ diameter) – 1 disc
Small baskets and pots to 7 litres (22cm or 9′) diameter – 2 discs
Medium baskets and pots to 15 litres (30cm or 12′ diamater – 3 discs
Large baskets and planters> 15 litres (35cm or 14’+ diameter) – 4 discs
After the first 3-4 months, apply a liquid feed as needed.
