Description
Sow Direct from late May to early June, once the soil has warmed.
Sow seeds 5cm deep at 25cm apart.
Alternatively, sow indoors from late April to May, but avoid sowing too early as beans grow quickly.
Harden off seedlings and plant outside after the last frost when soil temperature is 15c+.
Avoid high nitrogen fertilisers, which can cause leafy growth effect pod development.
The plant shouldnt need support but provide if needed.
Harvest the pods when they are young and tender.
Pick regularly to encourage continuous production.
