This six pack of Dahlia Figaro Red Shades bedding plants will create a long-lasting display with a bold colour classic dwarf dahlia variety with a compact, bushy, upright habit produces stunning double red blooms. A fast growing and long flowering plant with their blooms enjoyed from June all the way through to October. Dahlias are usually grown as annuals but with their tubers they are actually perennials. The tubers are lifted in autumn and stored over the winter, ready to plant out again the following are edible flowers but their flavour and textures can vary greatly depending on their growing conditions.
Plant in moist, well-drained soil in a good location with plenty of exposure to full sunlight. Regular watering and cutting flowers from this plant will improve performance. These plants have a dwarf growing habit; however, pinching out the growing tips in early summer will help it develop a bushier plant.
