Reaching a peak of around 2m high and up to 0.5m wide, this is an impressive climber that will add height, structure and colour to the garden. Strongly scented flowers appear in early summer and last all the way through to October.
Also known as Lathyrus odoratus, Sweet Pea Dwarf is fairly easy to grow. It flourishes well in pots as well as in flower beds and borders. Providing these flowers with a frame to climb produces an attractive display that bees and other pollinators will find irresistible. Use a trellis to grow alongside fences or an obelisk for flower beds. Bamboo canes work well in pots.
Sweet Pea Tall is well suited to flower arranging and its pleasant scent will fill a room with fragrance.
